The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a lightweight, single engine fighter jet capable of flying at twice the speed of sound. It was first produced by General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin and various licensed manufacturers. It is the most common fixed-wing aircraft in military service today and has been used by the air forces of more than 25 countries.
